Heading up our team is Jennifer Wheeler (Lumley) – passionate about software delivery, Jennifer started working in the industry in 1998 for a software testing consultancy, since then she has worked with hundreds of companies supplying market information, skills availability and engaging appropriate people to join their teams.
Jennifer, who is certified ISEB Foundation in Software Testing is also active in the technical communities; she undertakes pro bono work as a committee member of the SIGiST Specialist Interest Group in Software Testing (BCS – Chartered Institute for IT), helping to deliver conferences focussed on enabling the testing community to keep up to date with evolving practices and listen to thought leaders from all over the globe.
In addition to the above Jennifer produces content for Tester magazine.

We were contacted on Thursday by a software house needing a contractor to start working the following Monday on an urgent utilities project which had slipped scope leaving a very unhappy client.
The requirement was to scale the delivery team of professional testers quickly (16 people). There were a number of projects with a key client that needed resource. The brief was to recruit both technical tools based testers and manual QA people on a permanent basis. The company wanted to recruit on a permanent basis. We needed to find people who were client facing and happy to work on different client sites, ostensibly to work away from home during the week.
Within 3 months we had all the people they needed and fulfilled the requirement. After just 2 weeks trust and confidence was at a level where the client asked us ‘just to book interviews in’ they felt they didn’t need to see the CV’s before agreeing to meet the candidates.
A great result with a very happy client.
